90-Day Orientation of New Residents

Typically no one likes being the “new kid on the block”. That’s why Hank Fisher Properties’ premier senior communities have a formalized procedure — involving each department — for making the transition an easy one. Each new resident is assigned an “advocate” whose job it is to “carry the torch” and introduce him or her to the daily routines and workings of community life.

The program uses forms and checklists to outline when and by whom the wide variety of introductory procedures will be done — from care assessment, to dining room experience, to Life Enhancement — nothing is left to fall through the cracks. A series of checking and rechecking is done to ensure that residents’ can quickly and easily adjustment to their new home.
