Rob Wangler
Executive Director

Rob Wangler was named Executive Director of the Chateau at Carmichael Park in October 2007. In this post, he oversees the community’s operations to ensure fiscal responsibility, compliance with state and federal laws, resident well being, leadership of staff, and involvement in local community affairs.

Mr. Wangler returned to Hank Fisher Properties after a few years absence in which he lived near his family on the East Coast. For nearly five years, he had been Executive Director of River’s Edge and the Chateau at River’s Edge in the Campus Commons neighborhood of Sacramento. He also has served in a number of other large independent and assisted living communities.

Born in Ohio and raised in southern California, Mr. Wangler was graduated from Orange Coast College, Costa Mesa, California, with an Associates of Arts degree; from California State University Sacramento with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration; and from California State University Long Beach with a Master’s degree in Health Care Administration. He also is certified by the State of California as an administrator of Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFEs).

He and his wife, Denise, reside in Roseville. They have two grown children: Kevin and Christine.

Suzanne Leininger
Marketing Director

Mrs. Leininger joined the Chateau at Carmichael Park in September 2009 as the director of marketing. In this post, she assists seniors and their families in determining their housing and long-term care needs and the most appropriate settings for meeting them. She also assists new residents with the move-in process and maintains contact with a wide variety of professionals providing referrals and resources for seniors.

She brings to this post over a decade of experience in the senior living industry, primarily as a sales counselor.

Born in Hawaii, Mrs. Leininger traveled extensively her family as a child while her father served in the Air Force. Her high school years were spent in Turlock, California. She received an Associate of Arts degree in medical assisting.

She resides in Meadow Vista with her husband, John. They are parents of a grown son, Jeff, and daughter, Denise, as well as proud grandparents.
